COMIC BOOKS IN ENGLISH

What do you think about “comics.” Do you mean comedians? If so, yes, of course, and maybe that is a good way to learn “casual” or informal English. It has a panel of images, textual devices such as speech balloons, captions, dialogues, narration, and sound effects, etc. Comics include comedy, horror, action, Adventure.

The vocabulary is limited in comic books or comic magazines, However, for someone who needs a basic study, a comic can offer a basic familiarity with English words and improve their English speaking skills. Any basic medium or even children’s cartoons could offer some benefit to comic readers

There is nothing wrong if you start learning English by starting with a comic as a source for your study. It’s one of the good choices which I would tell.

The use of a comic is something like a News is Broadcasting on television or News in a newspaper.

Within newspapers, there will probably be a large and extended vocabulary that a student might not be able to understand. However, Comic will help a student to understand basic vocabulary.

A comic can make a student familiar with one of the most fundamental concerns in all of human history. Most of the comic books are Moral Dramas, which means the conflict between Good and Bad. Some comics will entertain you a lot it also includes superhero books like Marvel & DC comics, which will reveal all about the superheroes world.

Are superhero comics good for learning English? Yes!!, but we can’t find superheroes in reality. Are comics enough to learn English one should understand this at their own pace.

Anything that holds your interest long enough to make you want to keep reading is fair game, especially in the earlier stages of learning to read a language.

Comics are good for providing context clues, so they can attenuate some of the frustrations which are trying to interpret a large paragraph of text.

IMPORTANCE OF READING

COMIC BOOKS IN ENGLISH

This allows you to practice Self-Teaching, and it will make it possible for you to learn English very fast. When you have the chance, try to make sentences with the Verbs and Nouns that you find in the stories.

Comics tend to have, relatively speaking, simple dialog written in the way that most people can easily make patterns from, combined with punchy, bright imagery.

But it’s very substantial to repeat that you read and you genuinely enjoy, otherwise you’re either not going to continue, or you’re going to think of it as a slog, which will slow your progress.

Yes!!! Reading is better. It could help you to improve your vocabulary. Comic books would be ideal for a start.

However, if you are concerned about a good vocabulary it is important to read also newspapers, magazines, etc.

Yes, it did help me to some extent to improve my vocabulary trough reading newspapers and magazines.

  •  You need to start speaking, understanding, and writing English. Reading alone does not help you. rigorous practice makes you speak English fluently and also improves your vocabulary
  •  They use a lot of slang and specific terminology in newspaper articles. If you focus on translating every single word by looking at particular word meaning in the dictionary it would be beneficial, because you won’t see these words in daily conversations or e-mails.
  • Reading is important to develop your language abilities. But speaking is equally important. If one does not speak he would never get the fluency. Another important difference between writing and speaking is that in writing you have a chance to correct your errors but when it comes to speaking one has to get it right for the first time.
  • It is not only newspapers but other materials like comic books as I mentioned earlier also would help. Fiction would introduce one to spoken language more than newspapers.
  • Read the news or opinions that seem interesting to you. Do not force yourself to finish the entire newspaper. If you get bored just skip to the next news or page. Read which is creating attention of yours. There would be some news or any interesting facts that could seek your attention while reading the newspaper

English is “biggest hurdle for rural people” who lives in villages

Let me tell you a very big secret….”English is not a difficult language at all compare to French< Italian<etc

Learning English is very simple but knowing the right grammar is the key to success.

You need to know what’s right and what’s wrong, one should be able to examine. By reading some good books which focus on teaching you the right grammar. Once that is done your goal towards English starting moving forward.

Depends on what you are interested in really, are you interested in serious dialogue or flashy fights. There is nothing bad about being interested in one or the other, some people don’t want to read much but when they read comic books, they might start feeling interested.
